Integration of Google Cloud Vision for Automation of Verification Process : Built a REST API which used Google Cloud Vision API to identify the type of financial & vehicle-related documents through their images. The API could also extract the relevant information & generate a JSON response which contained the type of document & the extracted fields from the document. Image Processing was done on the images before sending them to Google Cloud Vision API to optimize performance. Built another API which collaborated with the newly built API & Loksuvidha’s Server APIs to verify & validate the authenticity of the documents by generating a JSON response. These two APIs are now being used by Loksuvidha’s Android Application which is available on Google Play Store.
