A Computer Science graduate and currently a PhD student at IIT Bombay working under the guidance of Dr. Suyash Awate and (late) Dr. Pushpak Bhattacharyya. I am interested in deep generative modeling for sequential data like text and code. My work involves the exploration of modeling paradigms beyond the traditional autoregressive setting (for eg., diffusion and flow matching). Currently, I am working on discrete diffusion for modeling natural language.
