Here, at the training unit, I learnt how to build several electrical networks in MATLAB. I have mainly focussed upon the simulation of Power Electronic circuits - Diode circuits, Phase controlled rectifiers, DC/DC Converters, Inverters and their operations. I went through IEEE journals and research papers and did the simulations of the networks in the research publications - 'A New Transformerless Buck-Boost Converter With Positive Output Voltage', 'A Family of Bidirectional DC/DC Converters Suitable for Asymmetrical Power Flow Requirement' and was able to get good results in MATLAB. I have learnt the mathematical modeling of photovoltaic cell/module/arrays and was able to simulate a solar panel unit in MATLAB. In the industrial outlet, I have observed all the manufacturing operations and the existing working conditions and interacted with training apprentices, the working people. I have got insights about the technology as well as the work.
