Hi there! I'm a passionate software engineer and entrepreneur, currently based out of Bangalore. I'm primarily interested in building backend & cloud based systems, and I have a track record of designing and implementing these systems from scratch. I've also been exposed to various aspects of business building with my startup, ranging from ideation to GTM. In my free time, I actively engage in building and exploring software, languages and tools. While I use a Python stack for my day job, I'm learning and using Golang for my hobby projects. ✷ Contributed to the design and implementation of Avoma's distributed email synchronisation platform & integrations for Gmail & Outlook - syncing millions of emails into Avoma and unlocking new avenues for enterprise revenue.
✷ Worked on enhancing Avoma's note-taking experience with custom topics, GPT based note extraction and advanced formatting options.
✷ Led the efforts to build Avoma's 'Meeting Alerts' feature - we use LLMs to identify and classify a variety of alerts for the meeting iit's associated objects from external CRMs, processing over 3 million+ alerts every month
✷ Released multiple enhancements such as automatic snippets to Avoma's meeting processing pipeline which processes millions of meetings every month

✷ Built integrations with CRMs like Pipedrive and Hubspot for Avoma's Revenue Intelligence platform
✷ Launched Avoma's Slack bot and app-wide integration, adopted by hundreds of organisations.
✷ Led efforts to build a unified meeting notification platform that has dispatched million+ messages across different channels like email & slack.

Left my return offer at Fidelity to start up right out of college :)
It was an eye-opening experience, got the chance to learn and experience things beyond just product building - people, business, branding and more. Some key milestones I enjoyed as a founder:
✷ Scaling to a team of 20 (!) at our peak
✷ Grew the mobile app to ~100k downloads, while maintaining a 4.5+ rating
✷ Made a few lakhs in revenue, and watched our metrics grow to (almost!) ROAS positive.
Unfortunately had to shut shop due to the changing market environments and difficulty in funding the business further.

First engineer at Volume, a platform to read and listen to bite-sized content - book summaries, articles and illustrated magazines. I got the chance to build the platform from scratch, dabbling in almost everything across the board, from product design to cloud infrastructure. Some interesting domains I have the privilege to work on -
✷ We built and managed ingestion, metadata and delivery of content across text, images and audio
✷ User authentication and metadata management like topics, likes, views, engagement and also feed recommendations.
✷ Wrote Volume's payment system that handled multiple subscription plans and international payments on both Android and iOS.
✷ Designed a system to deliver dynamic UI updates to our mobile apps from our backend; we proudly called this our "Banner system" - and it allowed us to give users a personalised UX experience on mobile apps and push UI updates from the server.
