Part of the MarketPlace Dynamics team which handles serving of ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and Demand Shaping levers for demand control throughout Zepto.
Built and onboarded a new microservice in Golang to calculate and serve Stresses (Demand Shaping levers based on Orders, Riders and packers) for the whole Zepto Ecosystem, the service handles a throughput of over 250K RPM.
Worked on the creation of new Demand Shaping Service which on basis of certain Demand Shaping levers controlled the demand on the Zepto Marketplace. The DSP service handles a throughput of 750k+ RPM with sub-millisecond latencies. The service brought down the onboarding of a new Demand Shaping Initiative from weeks of effort to 2-3 days.
Implemented custom algorithms which handle the dynamic serviceability of all Zepto Cafes throughout the country, the feature alone improved Order To Arrival (O2A) by 12 seconds for cafe orders throughout India.
