I’ve spent 18 years in talent acquisition working on complex technical hiring across AI/ML, Backend, Data, Product and Infrastructure roles. At Epiq, I work closely with engineering leadership to design hiring systems that balance speed with signal quality. That means clarifying what success in a role actually looks like, structuring interview processes that measure the right capabilities, and building recruiting workflows that scale across distributed teams. Most hiring problems are not sourcing problems. They are clarity problems. When the role definition, evaluation criteria, and stakeholder alignment are weak, the recruiting process breaks down no matter how many candidates enter the funnel. A large part of my work focuses on solving this upstream. Defining hiring signals, aligning interviewers, and building recruiting processes that produce consistent decisions while protecting candidate experience. I’m particularly interested in how structured conversations and AI-driven evaluation can improve signal quality in hiring and reduce noise in recruiting decisions. Views are my own.
