• Marlin is a digital content protection standard formed by a consortium, Sony being one of the members. At Sony's engineering center in India, we own the client side cross platform SDK for Marlin implementation.
• Role:
• Gather, discuss and analyze immediate and potential requirements from customers of Marlin SDK.
• Understand specifications and RFCs to a good depth. Raise questions in specifications if needed.
• Translate requirements into HLD and LLD keeping in consideration spec compatibility and potential requirements from other clients.
• Follow design principles and object oriented methodologies.
• Program extensively on a cross-platform SDK that will be shipped onto various platforms including Linux, Windows, Android, iOS.
• Work on open source toolkits like OpenSSL to hook into the Engine and BIO framework to customize OpenSSL.
• Perform threat modelling analysis and performance analysis on every version of the product.
• Train and mentor on secure programming practices.
• Follow Agile processes and methodologies

• Worked on the McAfee's Email and Web Security gateway.
• Email and Web Security appliance is a gateway appliance that provides content filtering for incoming and outgoing mail and web traffic. EWS is typically deployed in the DMZ behind a firewall and scans the most common application layer protocols at the gateway like HTTP, FTP, ICAP, POP3 and SMTP, etc. The product is written in C++ on a custom built Linux.

• Worked on development of i2's lower layer framework called FP Framework. This was the lower layer infrastructure APIs that is responsible for portability and system specific activities. The higher layer SCM planning applications make use of these libraries.
