I am inspired by some of the stalwarts of the Indian freedom movement & post independence political system. Issues like economic empowerment, sustainability, social justice, and youth development make me tick! I am honoured to serve the nation as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship & MoS of Education. I am a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Uttar Pradesh. Prior to entering politics, I worked briefly as an investment banker which provided me, a bird’s eye view of the different segments of our economy. Have immersed myself into rural India which is a colourful canvas depicting the future of India! Since May 2021, I am the President of Rashtriya Lokdal, the political party carrying forward the vision and ideals of former Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji.
