I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of transforming broken IT infrastructures into seamless systems that empower businesses to thrive. My journey of more than 10 years has taken me through some incredible experiences at leading tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon. At Kong Inc., where I led the cloud operations, I’ve had the opportunity to not only fix issues but also build sustainable setups that stand the test of time. One of my proudest moments was when I helped a client migrate their workloads to our platform while demonstrating over 95% uptime during the transition. It was rewarding to see how adopting new services like Xray and Appmesh significantly improved their observability solutions—making their architecture more robust than ever before. I thrive on these kinds of challenges because they allow me to blend my technical skills with my passion for helping others succeed. During my time at AWS as a Cloud Support Engineer II, I tackled complex deployment issues head-on while supporting clients in navigating the intricacies of cloud technology. Himanshu has shown customer obsession by working tirelessly after his shift work, and on one occasion continuously working with customer for more than 7 hours trying to resolved customer internal Active Directory (AD) issue just to make Appstream work, earning trust from customer. Due to restriction on the AD visibility, Himanshu went ahead to propose a workaround solution that fulfills customer requirements and the environment went live since then."

  • ■ "I have known Himanshu since long time and always relied on him for help with Appstream issues. Though there were multiple interactions with him which helped me to solve issues, there is one particular situation that I always remember when one of my customer Edmonds community college was having issues with default file locations on appstream. The issue appears to be a default behavior in the appstream session as per the documentation. Sometimes I see the support engineers sticking to the boundaries of the features and acknowledge the same to customer. In this case Himanshu took a step ahead, understood customers use case and worked hard to provide a workaround. Customer is delighted with the workaround and they rolled it in their production environment. I see his Bias for action, ownership and customer obsession in this scenario and he definitely raises the bar for L5."
