• On the Office 365 Build and Infrastructure team at Microsoft, I worked on a project to add transparency to the way Office projects undergo functionality testing. Using C# and .NET, I built a new API data layer with certificate authentication, expanded an existing API data layer, as well as implemented UI changes to an Azure DevOps extension used by developers across Office. I also learned to use Agile development practices, such as SCRUM, TDD, and sprint planning. For Microsoft's week-long summer Hackathon, I collaborated with other interns and full-time employees to create a captions in Mixed Reality working prototype with the Hololens using Unity, Mixed Reality Toolkit, Azure Speech Services, and Azure Spatial Anchoring.

• The Climate Institute, an organization dedicated to finding climate solutions through advancement of research and collaboration with U.S. and international partners. As a game development intern, I was designing and building a game about climate change with the purpose of raising awareness and educating the public. • The Digital Applied Learning and Innovation Lab is a lab in the Dartmouth CS Department where students design and develop digital solutions for partners across the country. As a software developer and mentor for the DALI Lab, I have collaborated with teams of designers and developers to build full-stack mobile apps and websites using React, React Native, NodeJS, Firebase, and MongoDb. The project I contributed to that I am most proud of is called Whiteboard, which is a cohesive platform for productivity and planning, built using React, Redux, and Firestore. As a mentor at the lab, my role was to help new members both gain the technical skills they needed to succeed in projects by hosting office hours and code reviews, and also create an environment where all students felt included and comfortable.

• As an intern at Seabird Apps, my job was to learn and familiarize with the platforms used to code the Dartmouth Student App, React Native, JS, and Firebase. After a short training period of learning how to use these platforms, I helped rigorously test the app for bugs, pushed fixes to the code base, and extended features such as customizing the home page icons.

• The Problem Solving via Object-Oriented Programming course at Dartmouth College marks the transition for many students from introductory CS topics to more intermediate-level studies of foundational algorithms and coding style. As a teaching assistant for this course, I serve as a primary resource for students in facilitating their learning and project-work outside of class. To ensure students' solid understanding of the material, I work very closely with 8-10 students in weekly section meetings to discuss questions and review the prior week's topics. In addition, I hold a minimum of 3 office hours per week, grade problem sets and exams, and aid the professor in reviewing exam questions before the exam is finalized.

• Using the Rassia's method of high-intensity drilling, I worked as a drill instructor for the Department of French and Italian at Dartmouth. The method involves fast-paced, interactive questioning and repetition of the language, and for 4, 1-hour sessions per week, I facilitated the drilling and immersion of students into the French language. I also served as a resource for students in my drill section, making myself available for any questions regarding the course or the language.

• I worked as a Barista at Starbucks, where I crafted drinks at the bar, fielded the cash registers, cleaned, and closed up the store most nights. I worked alongside a diverse crew, from which I heard the life stories of many. Starbuck's emphasis on creating community between baristas and customers made for an valuable and humbling experience in the customer service industry.
