Working on development of a highly resilient application using Java/Guice for integration of two of the
ION’s products. The service handles asynchronous incoming data streams and aggregation of
the data. The Service also allows migration of existing data of Forex Trades in the ION’s ecosystem for
onboarding new clients.
Working closely with product management team and developing a Java/ReactJs-MobX web application
that facilitates booking of Forex trades in bulk for the trading desks of banks as well as brokers.
Worked on development of a common infrastructure to support database archiving and purging of
historical data for various ION FX microservices.
Architectural design, product development, code optimization, enhancement, bug fixes, participation in
team reviews, mentoring of new joiners in the team are some of my major responsibilities.
Worked on development of a Mobile first Java/AngularJS based multi-tier SaaS application which was
responsible to source information from multiple downstream applications using REST API’s (Using
Spring Boot for REST Framework).
Development of automated test suites using Robot & Galen frameworks for rigorous functionality and
UI testing of the application.
Improved the CI/CD pipeline to get early feedback on developed functionalities using the Jenkins
Multibranch Pipeline Plugin.
Built a central SonarQube dockerized environment and integrated it with Jenkins’s pipeline to detect
bugs, security vulnerabilities, code smells and code duplications at an early stage. This enforced rule-
based checks on code to ensure code quality is up to the standards.

Designed and Developed a Java based highly scalable microservice which was responsible for fetching,
aggregating and caching data from multiple downstream services in order to construct a fairly
complex delivery plan for a collection of delivery packages.
Application leveraged the Fork/Join framework of Java 7 to asynchronously process the data and
aggregate it to a cacheable plan that would be used to move the delivery packages within the
multiple delivery centers of Amazon.
This reduced the latency of the overall system by about 18% and also speeded up the processing,
decoupling of the functionality allowed the process to be scaled independently and hence it won't
become a bottleneck in the overall performance.
