I started in engineering and built my way into security leadership. That perspective stays with me as a CISO: security should enable innovation as much as it manages risk. I’ve led security at Instacart and Amplitude and driven programs at Netflix and Salesforce—building global teams, automating compliance, embedding Zero Trust, and scaling SaaS and cloud-native defenses for enterprise growth and IPO readiness. I translate complex risk into clear, board-level decisions and partner with engineering to balance velocity with trust. In AI, I’ve written enterprise usage policies, set guardrails against Shadow AI, and integrated AI-driven detection into operations. I’ve also advanced DevSecOps practices, CSPM, and identity programs to reduce risk while supporting speed. My belief is simple: security isn’t a speed bump. Done right, it accelerates growth, builds customer trust, and creates lasting competitive advantage.
