• Collaborated on building a scalable BFF (Backend for Frontend) layer using NestJS, TypeScript, and GraphQL, simplifying frontend logic by aggregating and shaping data from downstream services. Implemented schema-based type generation and service-specific APIs (Home, Onboarding, CC, Rewards, etc.), reducing frontend computation and improving maintainability. Optimized performance by cutting first-load API calls (21 → 15) and removing redundant APIs, with homepage powered via BFF. Delivered significant gains: Android p90 load time improved by ~38% (2087ms → 1291ms) and iOS by ~9% (201ms → 183ms).
