I am a technology enthusiast and primarily interested in algorithms. I like programming and solving puzzles. I have worked as an intern for Microsoft, Hyderabad where my project dealt with Distributed System Monitoring using Counters and AutoPilot. I have worked on a couple of startups and love getting things done. I have published papers relating to sorting algorithms and have worked on projects relating to Hypercube and maximal matchings. I have also worked on an improved sorting algorithm and filed a patent for it. I have also worked at Amazon on the Automated Advertising platform, where my work involved work related to Creative Management/Adwords, new region launches as well as reporting and experimentation. I am presently working at Postman and loving the work and challenges involved :)

The interns were chosen by an All-India Pool Campus drive. Thousands of final and pre-final year students participated in the drive from reputed institutions throughput the country. The interns had to go through several rounds consisting of coding, telephonic interviews and personal interviews. Approximately a hundred students were chosen from the several thousand applicants after 5-6 rounds of selections.
The 10 week internship involved working as an SDE intern and work on real and on-going projects. I got to work in an existing team and worked on Autopilot and Counters which involved monitoring distributed systems for failures and raising proper alerts automatically and also represent the different metrics such as failure rate or job completion rate related with the actual service in the form of graphs.
