• Developed whole in-house backend infrastructure for BMS OTT platform (BMS Stream) for TVOD.
• We are using AWS Elemental Media convert service for our content transcoding with different presets and templates for different resolutions.
• We have designed and developed a DRM (Digital Rights Management) service for content security that works in compliance with Widewine and Fairplay systems. We used Shaka packager for DASH packaging for the widevine DRM system and Bento4 packager for HLS packaging for the Fairplay DRM system. worked on different edge cases of content smooth playback on a variety of devices. Designed a system for 4K content security along with playback with HDCP restrictions.
• Designed and Developed a session management framework for watch history, user session management, concurrent sessions, and smooth content delivery.
• Worked on data migration for migrating whole transactional (~10 lakh records), content, media, and price data from old vendor DBs to in-house DBs along with CMS migration.
• Developed Golang libraries for DASH and HLS manifest files customization to add additional content required for seamless content playback on any device and support for backward compatibility.
• Working along with the Payments system for seamless transactions and new features for better payment experiences such as BMS credits integration with PVR points.
