Amritendu Mukherjee — Co-Founder
Research Scientist and Technologist with a primary focus on the application of advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms and Statistical Learning Theory. My broader research interests span High-Performance Computing (HPC), Data Mining, Time Series Analysis, and Deep Generative Models, along with a strong engagement in the strategic and organizational aspects of Technology Management. Currently serving as the Associate Head (Research), Center of Excellence – AI & ML at eClerx, I lead strategic initiatives focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business transformation across global functions. Previously, I co-founded NeuroPixel.AI Labs, a deep-tech startup pioneering advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. As Co-Founder and CTO, I spearheaded the development of deep generative model–driven solutions aimed at enabling breakthrough personalization and automation for e-commerce storefronts. Before embarking on my entrepreneurial journey, I spent over eight years in Software R&D and Technology Consulting, contributing to cutting-edge projects at Intel (Habana AI Labs), Lexmark R&D Labs, and PwC. My work spanned applied AI research, enterprise-scale systems engineering, and technology strategy. Alongside my industry pursuits, I remain actively engaged in academia as Guest Faculty at IISc Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode, where I teach in the areas of Deep Learning and Decision Models. I also serve as a Visiting Fellow at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, focusing on the intersection of Cryptology, Security, AI, and Data Science. A Stage IV Composite Lymphoma survivor (2016–17), I bring resilience, curiosity, and purpose to every endeavor — guided by the belief that technology, when applied thoughtfully, has the power to create lasting human impact.
