• Designed and implemented a custom asynchronous OpenSSL engine in C
• to enable non-blocking network-bound HSM cryptographic operations; reduced CPU utilization under stress from 99% → 70% while sustaining peak throughput
• Implemented secure in-memory token authorization with periodic refresh for HSM communication and introduced configurable timeout controls to mitigate latency spikes.
• Served as Release Manager for staged SDP rollouts across 72 global regions; owned risk analysis, rollback strategy, and stakeholder communication.
• Managed Sev2 incidents and S500 customer escalations, debugged latency issues via packet capture analysis and identified TCP idle timeout behavior leading to configuration improvements.
