• Private Message Forward (Platform) - Enabled the functionality for users to forward messages within the Facebook messaging platform by long-pressing on a message. If the message is in private mode, users receive an alert notifying them that it cannot be shared with another contact.
• Private Sharing People Ranking Personalization - I supported the Machine Learning team at Facebook by integrating impression and click logging using the Falco System. I leveraged Facebook Analytics tools to implement event tracking, enabling detailed logging of user interactions with the post and story share sheet.
• Comment Pivot - I implemented a streamlined method for users to share Facebook post comments in FB Messaging after tagging individuals, by integrating FacebookShareKit into the FB Messaging Platform. This approach ensures that sharing requires a deliberate user action, significantly reducing the risk of accidental sharing and thereby respecting the privacy of tagged individuals who may prefer not to have their involvement in a post broadly shared.
• User Nickname (Platform) - Developed the nickname feature within the messaging platform, enabling users to customize and update nicknames for chat members. This project had a significant impact across multiple platform services, including FB Dating, c4g, jobs, marketplace, Ads, and CTM (Content to Monetization).
• News Feed Screenshot - Developed a new feature to allow FB app users to share public posts through screenshots taken on the News Feed page in both on and off-platform options. This feature was developed using Objective-C and implemented through proprietary abstractions with ComponentKit. Implemented Unit test.
