• Role/Contributions:
• Effectively engineered bulk-payment-processing microservice (spring boot) that leverages Kafka to execute thousands of payment transactions in an asynchronized manner.
• Developed a service to allow Websocket communication between Emirates NBD and the Central Bank of UAE. This resulted in an instant settlement for inter-bank payments.
• Redesigned Nifi data-pipelines by applying functional and logical segregation that improved testability, traceability and maintainability of pipelines
• Setup Nifi cluster and administered the servers for high-availability and sustainability during peak traffic period.
• Developed a reporting system in Nifi to emit instant email alerts to the production support team. This helped in rapid issue mitigation and rectification.
