• Development, fixing and increasing the efficiency of a web based crop loss assessment tool built using Apache Tomcat Server, the client-side on JavaScript and the server-side on Php with modules written in R being called as and when required.
• Assisting with Data Scraping and topic modeling using LDA using python for carrying out research on Food-security and the trends in Climate Smart Agriculture.
• Creation of stand-alone tool for automation of crop modelling analysis and generating reports and maps for the results.
• Creation of basic crop models using on the fly accessible data sets on Google Earth Engine Python API and visualizing the same using folium.
• Creation of an architecture of VMs on GCP to increase the efficiency of creation of weather data files (compilation of huge data sets) over Linux-based systems using CDO operator and the result being passed to the model on-the-fly as per user’s requests on the application hosted over a Windows VM.

• Development of an application using ESRI’s Web App Builder in Dojo framework to map the energy sector (Transmission Lines, Power plants, Gas Infrastructure, Solar and Wind Farms) for the South Asian countries.
• Creating a methodology for determination of probable suitable sites for construction or setting up of future Renewable projects using AHP procedure taking into account the geophysical characteristics, the guidelines for particular type of project and catastrophic risks.
• Creation of a web based dashboard using Shiny in R to visualize the results from the in-house Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) model and create profiles for Daily, Monthly, Seasonal, Annual, and the whole time-series trends of Solar-radiation and Wind Speed Variations (min, max, mean, p10, p50, p90, standard deviation)
• Creating a dashboard application for the Energy Infrastructure tool using Microsoft’s Power Bi tool.

• Developing GUI based tools using Arc Objects in VB.Net for automation of various GIS processing being carried out in the organization.
• Developing multithreaded tools using PyQT and various python spatial packages and creating a packaged Windows based application of the same. (Contributed the development of 14 of 23 tools and the packaged app).
• Data Scraping: Created scripts for automation of large amount of data from various websites for creating a database of incidents of cyber-crimes around the globe using python libraries: requests, bs4, and selenium. Also automated over 800 RSS providers in python and linked them to a MongoDb database to store only the relevant articles by creating a classifier.
• Text Analytics: Creating scripts in Python using NLTK package to search specific information from Text using Natural Language Processing Techniques in Python. Also worked with Dependency Parser using Spacy to understand and extract meaningful information from sentences.
• Machine Learning and data analytics: Developing models for Natural language processing using Scikit-learn in python. Text classification models using various machine learning algorithms and API for the same.
• Development of Spatial Repository using MapGuide OS, GeoServer and Postgres (PostGIS Extension). Created a spatial visualization tool for the display of various catastrophic products (Risk Maps etc.) being developed over the firm and the datasets that go into the modelling of the same. The size of the datasets ranged over 500-600 GB. Writing Codes for Tile Caching for the efficient and smooth working of the application. Creating Custom tools as services in Python to carry out on the fly analysis.
• Worked actively with Event Response team during the Hurricane season in 2017 and 2018 for identifying damages and detecting most severely affected regions and the flooding levels and wind speeds at the time of impact for the same by mining news articles and tweets.
