• At bik.ai, I worked on improving system performance and reliability across large-scale data and messaging systems. One of my major contributions was restructuring a 1TB Elasticsearch cluster by splitting it into multiple 100GB indices and moving 95%+ of 1B+ documents to warm nodes using ILM. This helped eliminate query timeouts and reduced infrastructure cost by 56% ($1700/month) while also improving stability under peak traffic.
• I also worked on optimizing our broadcast system by batching customer lists and processing them in parallel. Along with idempotency checks to avoid duplicate sends, this significantly reduced latency and cut unnecessary database load. As a result, campaign deliverability improved by 40% and broadcast failures dropped by 80%.
• For segmentation, I introduced a caching approach that removed the need for heavy direct Elasticsearch queries, which made customer targeting and drip campaigns much faster and prevented runtime failures. I also built an automated and safe GDPR-compliant data purge pipeline across Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and Firebase for churned stores.
• Alongside backend work, I developed internal tools like an Email Template Builder and WhatsApp Template Builder in React, enabling marketing and customer success teams to launch campaigns independently without support from engineering.
• Overall, I focused on improving system reliability, reducing operational effort, and creating tools that helped teams move faster and more confidently.

• As a Full Stack Developer, I developed a mobile e-commerce application using React Native and NestJs. I integrated several databases, including MongoDB, Postgres, and Neo4j Graph DB to manage application data. To enable secure payment processing, I integrated Juspay payment gateway functionality into the application.
• For secure communication between the frontend and backend, I created a RESTful API using AWS API Gateway. I also implemented token-based authentication from scratch for user authentication and authorization purposes.
• To ensure optimal performance and scalability, I deployed the application using AWS ECR, ECS Serverless Fargate, and AWS API Gateway.
• Overall, my work on this project allowed users to easily navigate the mobile e-commerce application and conduct seamless transactions, while ensuring the security and privacy of their information.
