I see the shift clearly: from prompt engineering to context + workflow engineering, and from generic models to specialized AI systems embedded directly into how work gets done. I spend a lot of time stress-testing these systems against ambiguity—noisy data, conflicting signals, latency constraints—closing the gap between impressive demos and systems that are actually dependable in production. I believe open-source AI is where real progress compounds—shared primitives, faster iteration, and systems that evolve in the open. 2026 feels like the start of the compressed 21st century—and I’m building systems that can operate inside it.
