• Project- Hills Global Data Harmonization.
• OVERVIEW: Hill’s US is a pet food manufacture. Hill’s Global Data Harmonization System is used to map and harmonize data associated to the pet food market at the retailer level for different countries with all its competitor, bringing it to a global format so that the conducting business analysis and decision making could be easy and can help in improving product marketing strategies.
• Enhancing the ability of Hill’s Global Data Harmonization System, which is used for harmonizing data for analysis and automating every possible steps.
• Skills, Tools Used: Concordia v3, Core Java, SQL, maven, git, Eclipse , Excel.
• Project- Ecommerce Data Harmonization.
• Project Details: The objective of the project is to analyze e-commerce data from various different source and support the client’s decision making process with respect to developing business strategies targeting online customers.
• In order to analyze this data, data harmonization was an essential prerequisite.
• My Role: Harmonizing and processing of data from different sources, code-debugging, testing and bug-fixing. Harmonization also includes fuzzy string matching.
• Subscription analysis to find out the subscriber from the data based on customer purchasing behavior.
• Skills, Tools Used: Concordia v2, Core Java, SQL, maven, git, MuleStudio IDE, Excel.
• Tool Development:
• Overview: Developed a tool to perform several different operations like merging, extracting data based on filter, pivoting data, transposing data, looking for missing-additional, unique list generation and language translator on big data(csv files) which reduced the manual intervention for doing all this operation. Language translator helped the team to have the understanding of other foreign language data as good as of local team and perform further analysis.
• Skills, Tools Used: Core Java, JSP and Servlet, Eclipse IDE, Excel, Google Translator API, JavaScript, JQuery , Ajax .
