Nicholas Argenziano — Co-Founder
I am a Computer Vision research engineer, fascinated by how autonomous systems can perceive and reconstruct the outside world based on data, particularly in the context of dynamic scenes and their potential applications for physical AI. After completing my MSc in Robotics at ETH Zurich, I co-founded SPAICE Technology, where I led AI R&D for space-based navigation software. I also contributed to foundation models for visual inspection at IBM, refining defect detection predictions on civil infrastructure. Currently, I’m working on Generative AI and 3D Reconstruction & Rendering at Huawei's Computing Systems Lab, within the Zurich Research Center. On a more personal level, I consider myself someone who is drawn to a wide range of fields. I believe that having diverse interests and a broad perspective is important for a researcher. I also value creativity and intellectual curiosity, which continue to guide my exploration of new domains. My journey—from a humanities-based high school to aerospace engineering and AI—has given me a unique outlook that I believe enhances my ability to approach challenges with fresh ideas and solutions.
