About

I'm a QA Automation Engineer at Deloitte USI with 5 years of experience across enterprise quality engineering — and I'm currently living one of the most interesting transitions in my career. For most of my career, Tosca was my craft. No-code automation, enterprise-grade test coverage, ISTQB-backed quality processes. I delivered automation for telecom, e-commerce, and CRM platforms, and earned certifications in Tosca AS1, AS2, ISTQB CTFL, and Java/QA from NTT DATA. Then the industry shifted. Code-first automation gained ground. AI tooling started reshaping how test assets get written, reviewed, and maintained. Our team was asked to help make that shift real — pick a language, adopt Playwright, build it the right way. I picked Python — coming from a no-code background, with no prior coding foundation. Over the past year I've built a full Playwright + Python framework from scratch, including: ļæ½ Page Object Model with shared base-class inheritance šŸ”¹ Suite-driven execution (smoke, sanity, regression) with a custom runner šŸ”¹ Auto-screenshot on failure + custom HTML reporting šŸ”¹ Email automation with embedded evidence ļæ½ CI/CD-agnostic design (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins-ready) šŸ”¹ Flaky-test hardening and headless-in-container stability I'm sharing the entire journey as #LearningFriday — an 8-week LinkedIn series breaking down real lessons (not tutorials) from going zero-code to code-owned automation. šŸ› ļø Current toolkit Playwright • Python • pytest • Tosca • Selenium • Azure DevOps • SQL • Unix/Linux • Postman • Git šŸ“š Always learning TypeScript migration • Cucumber / Playwright BDD • AI agents in test automation • GitHub Copilot for QA workflows

Nov 2025 – Present Ā· 7 mos Ā· Hyderabad, Telangana, India Ā· Hybrid

  • Senior Software Engineer | Nov 2025 – Present | Deloitte USI
  • Senior SDET architecting and owning code-first automation for an enterprise web platform — actively building on Playwright (Python / TypeScript) while continuing to deliver Tosca-led automation across parallel engagements. Cross-stack capability spans TDD, BDD, and emerging agentic QA solutions.
  • Playwright framework architecture (current build)
  • šŸ”¹ Designed a Playwright + Python framework using Page Object Model with shared base-class inheritance for reusable components, locators, and helpers
  • šŸ”¹ Built suite-driven execution (smoke / sanity / regression) via a custom runner — non-technical stakeholders can read and edit suite definitions
  • šŸ”¹ Engineered fixture-driven setup, parallel-safe test data handling, and clean teardown patterns
  • šŸ”¹ Hardened flaky scenarios with explicit-wait strategies, network-response synchronization, and state-based assertions
  • šŸ”¹ Certified across Tosca AS1, AS2, API Engineer, TDS1, and TDS2 — applied to model-based automation for enterprise platforms
  • šŸ”¹ Bridge between model-based and code-first teams — help stakeholders choose the right approach per layer (UI, API, data)
  • šŸ”¹ ISTQB-backed test design, risk-based coverage, and reusable module libraries
  • Reporting & observability
  • šŸ”¹ Custom HTML report layer on top of pytest-html (summary cards, filters, embedded failure evidence)
  • šŸ”¹ Automated result emails with HTML body + embedded screenshots (smtplib + atexit for write-safe attachment timing)
  • CI/CD & engineering
  • šŸ”¹ Framework is CI/CD-agnostic — auto-detects Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins build identifiers
  • šŸ”¹ Leveraging GitHub Copilot (GH-300 certified) for accelerated framework scaffolding, locator generation, and test design
  • šŸ”¹ Contributing to custom AI agent prototypes for QA workflows — locator self-healing, test-design assistance, code-review augmentation
  • šŸ”¹ Hackathon Spot Award for delivering an agentic, human-in-the-loop QA solution from concept to production-ready
