OWCS handles all the business objects\products and rules within, and the entire web site is governed by the OWCS parameters. Web services though used, are not the OOTB feature, but exclusively used in the Server side Java code in OWCS. A pretty complex modelling is used inside the OWCS where its core components: Templates and CSElements are used to enable all the functionality needed.
