I was a part of the TV team and developed a background service and application for fetching the logs from the in-house Android based set-top box. The application also catered to other requests from the Backend. The logging data responses were written to a pre-authenticated file location url(Amazon s3 bucket), and all the communication between set-top box and backend was through MQTT client based on web-sockets.
