Since graduating with a Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from BITS Pilani, I've been harnessing my expertise in research collaborations, first as a Junior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, followed by CSIR - Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology where I am currently posted as a Project Associate - II. My professional journey began as a Project Intern at IIT Guwahati, where I developed a foundational understanding of Molecular Biology. This experience paved the way for my role at Intas Pharmaceuticals as an R&D (Upstream Process Development) Trainee, further refining my proficiency in wet lab techniques including mammalian cell culture & upstream process development. Further, as a Junior Research Fellow at NIMHANS, my focus on innovative research contributed to meaningful advancements within our team's objectives, upholding the institute's mission in mental health and neurosciences. Currently at CSIR - IGIB, my focus is on the Indian Breast Cancer Genome Atlas (IBCGA) which includes Whole genome, whole transcriptome and methylome sequencing, including FFPE tissue gene expression validation. My research areas of interest include Neurobiology & Neurodegenerative diseases, Translational Research, Immunology, Cancer Biology, and Stem Cell & Molecular Biology.
