Jobhawk - construction labour marketplace

UX Designer and Researcher

Mar 2016Apr 2016 · 1 mo · London, United Kingdom

  • Jobhawk is the UK’s first-ever Labour Marketplace for construction companies and tradesmen. The startup was conceived by two veteran carpenters who are seeking a recruiting solution for their construction company, and believe it will benefit the broader industry.
  • Our brief was to focus on the tradesmen side of the market. We were asked to review user stories and to design the mobile app including clickable prototypes focusing on registration process and a job search.
  • After first week of research, where we conducted almost 30 interviews with tradesmen across the London we initiated the design phase, where we started to create prototypes of application. We prepared 3 types of prototypes (paper prototype, digital wireframes and hi-fi mockups) which were tested with tradesmen.
