During my time as ML Engineer at HyperRoute, a startup founded by my seniors, we worked on integrating a product into local public transport for small- to medium-package delivery. The idea was to reduce urban congestion and cut CO₂ emissions. In fact, in 2024 we estimated our solution could reduce emissions by nearly 24% by 2027.
My specific contribution was developing an Air Quality Index forecast model for Hyderabad, which we presented to the TSRTC Chairman along with our product survey and feasibility study. I also handled cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication—cold emailing, networking, and securing meetings with transport officials.
This experience gave me hands-on exposure not just to technology, but also to stakeholder management, communication, and leadership—skills that I believe are essential as I step into the corporate world.
