At Cisco, I have been working as a Software Engineer since August 2022. My key contributions include developing features for the IOS XR operating system, particularly leveraging the Trust Anchor Module (TAm) for secure user authentication and certificate management. I utilized C language's multithreading and Linux-specific features like IPC and mutexes. I also engineered a feature that enables hosting multiple Docker containers on Cisco routers with integrated authentication and authorization in C. After authentication and authorization, rest of the flow is handled by a plugin, that is written in GoLang by me. In addition to that, in the initial phase of my employment, I built a monitoring tool for Cisco DNA Center's Kubernetes services using React.js, Python, Django, Docker, and Kubernetes. I have a strong passion for algorithmic problem solving and coding, which motivated me to pursue my M.Tech in computer science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, one of the top NITs in India. I wrote GATE exam and got 97.75 percentile. During my M.Tech, I honed my skills in various domains of computer science, such as computer organization, architecture, operating systems, networks, and databases. I also completed several courses and certifications on platforms like NPTEL and Coursera, covering topics like programming, data structures, algorithms, and Java. I wrote for DRDO Scientist-B and got recommended but didn't join it, as I wanted to explore private sector, first.
