  • I was primarily responsible for developing an API using the Django REST framework that can upgrade all the nodes in a MySQL cluster to a specified version with near-zero downtime. The API is rolled out to clients as a self-service tool developed using AngularJS. The API eliminates manual intervention of DBA and reduces the manual effort to upgrade the MySQL nodes individually, which usually takes more than 2 hours, depending on the cluster size.
