Previously, I worked as a Principal Engineer / Software Architect at Entain, where I led the design and delivery of high-throughput, low-latency, and highly available distributed systems for a next-generation sports trading platform. I progressed from Software Engineer to Technical Lead and then to Principal Engineer at Entain within five years, driven by ownership, technical excellence, and continuous growth. With over seven years in the sports betting industry, I have strong expertise across multiple sports and their trading systems. I have built a robust and resilient trading platform for horse racing and greyhound racing from the ground up. I have extensive experience leading globally distributed and diverse teams across B2C and B2B applications through the complexities of agile software development. My leadership style emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision-making, empathy, and evidence-based choices to ensure that we build both world-class products and strong, happy teams.
