Projects:-
◦ Slackbot : Fetched product relevant data from databases and proceeded to create a
pictorial description from it and automatically send it to the #general channel of the
organization's Slack Workspace.
◦ Mailbot: Fetched weekly user activity and consolidated the report in a pretty HTML report sent as the e-mail's body with an Excel report of the same sent as the e-mail attachment. Also sent out SMSs for the same report.
◦ Internal Tools: Built several tools for the sales and onboarding team like: Bulk Excel Image
Addition Module, Bulk PPT/PDF Image Extraction Module, UserData Excel Report
Fetching Module, which helped in increasing the productivity at the sales side by
immensely increasing the ease of new customer's onboarding, ultimately boosting
product's sale.
◦ Redash Dashboards: Built several dashboards on Redash which are used by the sales
team.
◦ Worked on the Buyer Recommendation team: Provided the
backend of the feature with relevant data sources to chug data from for recommending potential buyers for users' (exporters) products which boosts their business.
◦ FastAPI based Backend: Enhanced product's backend performance by re-routing API calls
with direct database CRUD operations. It helped alleviate the load from server side and
decreased response time by almost 2 times.
◦ Automations: Worked with Google Drive and Google Sheets API to update Google Sheets on
an automated and periodic basis which also provides another way to access crucial information regarding platform usage.
◦ Web Scraping: Many web-scraping mini projects which used libraries like Selenium, bs4 for extracting data from customer's website for onboarding. Some of these projects only used API calls to get the required data, while some used proxy rotation as well. All these scrapers run within the Google Colaboratory's environment and operate within its constraints. All projects were built to be re-usable and extensible and the code was re-used in several other projects as well
