About

I’ve spent the last 12 years working at the intersection of what healthcare costs and how patients actually fare. My background is a bit of a hybrid; I started in Applied Physics and Bioinformatics because I enjoy solving complex, high stakes puzzles. Today, I use that same analytical rigor to tackle the "economics of care", ensuring that healthcare organizations aren't just collecting data, but are using it to drive better clinical outcomes and sustainable cost-containment. Currently, as a Senior Strategic Advisor at Quantum Health, I act as a bridge between technical engineering and executive level benefits strategy. I’m currently focused on two significant challenges: navigating the rising costs of NICU care for large employers and developing AI-driven frameworks to identify and mitigate provider upcoding before it impacts the bottom line. My path has taken me from leading NIH-funded clinical study data at Rush University Medical Center to directing medical cost trend analysis at Optum. Along the way, I've learned that the most effective healthcare strategies aren't just built on algorithms, they’re built on the ability to translate those insights into a narrative that a CEO or a Board of Directors can actually act on. As a UIC alumnus and a Harvard-certified HEOR specialist, I am deeply committed to the shift toward value based care. I’m also a big believer in mentorship; I’ve found that the best way to improve the industry is to help the next generation of analysts learn how to ask the right questions of their data. If you’re interested in the intersection of data science, strategic leadership, and the future of healthcare delivery, let’s connect!
