• Some of the challenges out teams have tackled in the past include building an identity graph for online and offline identifiers (30 billion nodes and growing), building and running a real time processing and ML model inferencing platform for event-based and profile-based matching based on Kafka Streams, ETL data pipelines on GPU Rapids.

We use Openstack, Aws, Docker and a variety of programming languages (Python, Java, Golang). Our developers and partners use this platform to innovate, develop, test and deploy micro services and mobile applications. Some of the most interesting projects we deal with include building a full pub sub distributed work queue manager and a distributed caching framework for delayed writes.

I am very hands-on in this role, and write Java code on a day-to-day basis. My teams are dispersed across the US and Europe.
• Some of the challenging aspects of the role include talent acquisition and retention (I have built teams in the US and Europe from ground up), code and performance reviews and appraisals balanced out with owning end-to-end feature development. I frequently serve as a conduit between my team and the top-level management, and have successfully delivered on projects in the private and public cloud space with NetSuite.

• As part of the Cloud Orchestration Group, my work has focused on developing mediation strategies for network, storage and virtual machine usage, provisioning workflows and APIs (REST and SOAP) for storage, virtual machines, user and account management for our Cloud Platform product.
• Some of the most interesting modules I have implemented include SOAP and REST style APIs for account management and computing resources management, host and network statistics monitoring modules, workflows for cloud monetization and billing. These modules scale across hundreds of nodes, spread across geographically dispersed zones. Our largest deployment for the product I work on has 20000 hosts and growing, spanning multiple geographic zones, and having more than 100,000 virtual machines for tens of thousands of user accounts.
• In this role, I spent 80% of my time coding, and 20% doing code reviews and mentoring junior developers. My work primarily involves using Java, Spring, Quartz, MySQL, JSP, Tiles, XML, Json.

• I have worked on the API and the management layer of the product, dealing with storage, networking and virtualization concepts. We currently support KVM, Xenserver and VMWare hypervisors.

• Currently, I am working on Cloud.com cloudstack storage integration with the netapp storage management apis and filers.

• I have worked on multiple releases of Oracle Beehive Search, where we implement search algorithms for Oracle's Enterprise Collaboration Server. The core functionality is implemented using Java/J2EE and Oracle PL-SQL for the back end. The deployment was across Linux, Windows and Solaris systems on Weblogic and OC4J containers and Oracle real application clusters. I have architected and coded up modules for retroactive recovery, meetings and email parsing, crawling, indexing and querying. Some of the early benchmarks include support for 80k users owning more than 100 million artifacts across Oracle.

Responsibilities include designing of UI for various Jdeveloper panels, implementing the corresponding object model for the backend and generating the corresponding requirement specification documentation. Further responsibilities include using JUnit framework to test the software functionality, by writing JUnit tests.
