• Leading the engineering teams for BNPL(Paylater) that own Fraud, Risk, Loan Management Lifecycle, Subledger, Capital-Diversification, Credit-Collection, Loan-Insurance, Digital Credit Card & Customer Segmentation. Responsible for the Architecture & Development (hands-on) on the platforms for each of these domains. Our tech-stack: Java/Kotlin/Python/Go/React, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, RPC, Rest & AWS infrastructure Services. Accountable for the systems, engineering strategy, product-engineering roadmap, agile processes, hiring and people org management.

• Platform Team: Designed & Developed organization-wide re-platforming strategy (Golang + Ruby + VueJS + Kubernetes) that aimed at maximizing scalability, reliability & reusability via Micro-services + Data Sharding. Initiated this project through multiple POCs, eventually, this project and I were trusted with an 8-member team before it was delivered successfully to reduce time-to-market by 6x.
• Developed User Profile & Authentication System (Golang + Ruby), it helped deliver personalized recommendations & predictive financing. Built translations module to handle multiple languages.

• Developed an in-house A/B Testing Platform(Golang), which also routes and monitors user-traffic between multiple backends.
• Set up the initial Data Infrastructure - data-pipeline (Confluent Kafka), ETL pipelines(Python), CI/CD (Drone) & kafka-producer libraries to capture & refine event-data from product channels.

• Gojek Transport Team: Developed - from inception to release - the complete transport OMS which scaled from Gojek’s 10K customers to 45 million customers. Also implemented the CI/CD, Infra Provisioning, Performance Testing & Database Tuning.
• Driver Allocation & Pricing Team: developed multiple services (Clojure + Golang + Java) involved in the complete driver allocation flow - right from detecting driver’s location to ranking, bidding & allocating available drivers for each booking.
• Developed Clustering Service (Python) that found similar geospatial regions(S2Ids) based on various parameters like Moran’s I, weighted demand-supply etc. Experimented & implemented various clustering algorithms to improve dynamic pricing (surge).
• Platform Team: Developed a “smart-proxy” (GoLang) that handled >100K sessions concurrently to route requests based on request body parameters within different micro services. The new backend allowed Gojek to support an increase of 250% in daily order transactions in its 1st phase.
• Recommendation system to suggest personalized pickup/drop-off locations based on their activity pattern. Reduced avg. booking time by 4 sec and increased daily bookings by 3.7%.
