Middendorf foundation

Philanthropy Strategy

May 2025Jun 2025 · 1 mo · Baltimore, Maryland, United States · On-site

  • At Middendorf, I collaborated with a team of five to design and execute a comprehensive research project on key successes and challenges facing nonprofits undertaking Education Capital Projects in Baltimore. Organizing with Executive Director Havaca Ganguly, we conducted 47 interviews with nonprofit leaders, grant officers, and city officials. After comprehensive review and sentiment analysis using machine learning, we compiled our findings into 40-page final report, highlighting strengths, common roadblocks, and next steps for foundation officers to implement. We presented key themes to members of 4 foundations with combined $3B+ AUM, sparking further conversations about better supporting nonprofit capital projects across the city.
