Our platform helps hotels boost revenue and improve guest satisfaction by letting guests order room service, towels, cleaning, or book spa treatments through a simple chat or WhatsApp interface. It reduces front desk load, increases upsells, and creates a modern, seamless guest experience. 💼 I am also working as a Data Scientist at Anglo American, where I lead the end-to-end deployment of AI systems in production. From image segmentation to OCR and real-time API services, I built scalable, reliable tools using Azure ML and FastAPI. Being part of the Pricing department - we build pipelines for spitting out discount recommendations based on the sales target and other marker constraints. We would process around 1M SKUs each week and recommend discounts for the next 40 weeks.
During my time, I led the migration of data processing done purely in Python to Distributed Processing using PySpark in the Amazon EMR. This new distributed solution brought down the processing time from 6 hours to 2 hours with reduced compute cost for each week.
