• My goal was to provide the best bus product experience to the customer while adhering 100% of govt guidelines. I was solely responsible for :
• i) Trained the entire bus technology team of 4 engineers from scratch, and mentored them to improve their skills, and make them more effective product software engineers.
• ii) Designing Model objects for Buses API V2.
• iii) Contributed to Bus new UI written in Node.js
• iv) Created a Framework which handles all Api data in Mongo.
• v) Worked with cross product teams to make common system for all products, and a better platform.
• vi) Single Handedly created Bus Product apiv2 for India that is now being used in our Desktop/Mobile site, Mobile App, and also used by 3rd party.
• Separated Bus module from rest of the code base to make the products independent:
• i) Major code refactoring was done to remove web_servies stubs of Bus suppliers, and created separate bus_autogen jar to be used similar to a micro service.
• Developed analytics system which can provide user behavior insights, as well as track technical issues with the application software:
• i) Implemented systems to track customer search flow, clicks, search-to-book ratio for intelligent marketing.
• ii) Incorporated error scenario monitoring for technical observation and to enhance customer support.
• Provided world class Bus search and booking experience to the customer. I was able to achieve below:
• i) Increased Bus sales by at least 200 % by taking the new UI live in India on Desktop/Mobile site & Mobile apps.
• ii) Got the Bus auto-complete feature implemented using Solr.
• iii) Designed and Implemented various salient features including run-time duplicate removal, automatic mapping tool, sold out automation.

• I was responsible for development of S/W applications to fulfill customer's needs across 4 countries (i.e. India, Indonesia, Philipines and Singapore), and improving the systems performance:
• Integrated over 10 APIs including Redbus/SeatSeller, VRL, YatraGenie, Bitlasoft, Kramatdjati etc.
• Worked on GDS framework for the travel partner who doesn't have api.
• Created complete B2C Bus Api for our Mobile App.
• Handled Bus outward api as well, given to the 3rd party.
• Designed/Implemented entire Bus SEO framework and pages, and also created a framework for uploading the operators seo content.
• Integrated mongo tracking on search result page to get page hits for SEO purposes.
• Developed mongo tracking framework for Blocking/Booking failed alerting system, and using it completely reduced the blocking/booking failure.
• Implemented automatic cancellations and refunds, resulting in saving 10 man hours daily.
• Designed and developed entire caching and static content systems using Redis.
