Anders Opedal — CEO

I am the president and chief executive officer of Equinor, a company I have had the pleasure of working at for 28 years. I joined Equinor in 1997 as a petroleum engineer. During my years in Equinor I have held many different positions in the company, from Drilling and Well to Chief Procurement Officer and country manager for Brazil, to mention a few. I come from a small industrial village in Norway, and have always been passionate about the role of engineering and industries in shaping societies and creating progress. This is also a driving force for me when stepping into the role as CEO of Equinor. Our ambition is to shape the future of energy, and to make sure we successfully transform natural resources to energy for people and progress for society.
