It is to provide calm, experienced oversight, challenge assumptions when needed, and help boards make decisions they can stand behind. I am typically engaged: • Ahead of acquisitions or capital events • When technology has become a constraint on growth • Where delivery risk is increasing but internal signals are unclear • As an independent second opinion to executive teams Initial engagements are usually short, focused due-diligence assignments, often followed by retained board-level support where continuity and judgment matter more than volume of activity.
