• I lead all SAP MM (materials management) and LE (logistics execution) rollouts across India, Africa, Russia, Turkey and Middle East in line with standard Beiersdorf templates and other SAP upgrades. By managing project teams, I define the IT blueprint for EDI integration with SAP alongwith our external logistics partners, backed by subsequent testing and implementation within the project timelines and business processes. Additionally, I am also responsible for enhancing supply chain IT capabilities through continuous sharing of best practices within and across Beiersdorf affiliates and providing troubleshooting guidance and solutions for the aforementioned affiliates.

• I am responsible for supply for 200+ products, contributing to 75%+ of the total Nivea business in India, sourcing from six manufacturing facilities globally. I ensure on-time in full launches of new products, consumer promotions and relaunches, in line with IBP requirements. Additionally, I co-develop and deliver consumer and trade promotions annually with the marketing team, resolve supply constraints with the demand planning team, and rationalize and optimize inventory across the assortment alongwith the Planning head. In 2017, I was also responsible for identification and implementation of system changes in SAP for taxation according to GST, and I co-worked with shared services and external consultants to implement changes in way of working.

• I was responsible for logistics and warehousing for all warehouses in West region, contributing to 23% of total volume sold, and also the mother distribution centre which catered to all inbound imports and local manufacturing. I managed the overall transportation spend within 0.8% of the net sales along with consistent delivery of 98%+ on time service levels, with replenishment movements across 20 hubs. During this stint, I have led a team of 16, spread across own employees as well as logistics service providers.

• I identified business impact projects through lean and six sigma methodologies and delivered ~80 million INR in supply chain savings through various zonal initiatives and replication projects for Tamil Nadu.
