• Following my passion for search from college , Pitched my ideas and a prototype to the current management to land the lead Search Engineering position.
• built the product vision around technology offerings available to boost competitive edge for the product
• 1. Developed a cLucene based realtime search server, based on the teams existing technologies.
• 2. Completely overhauled the search technology stack which is still place today to use Solr/Lucene and other propriety software stack to build a multi-data center cross geographical cloud solution to store customer data securely in isolated silos in accordance with SEC rules and reglations. This effort was done with a team of 8 amazing people.
• 3. Presented these and other product enhancements to Forrester Research, Gartner Research and IDC. This and other efforts on the sales team got our team into the Magic Quadrant.

• Understand the common themes across scenario analysis products that Bloomberg offered in various market sectors and design a unified workflow for clients to perform Scenario Analysis accross Bonds, CDS , Equities , Loans. I had to understand how traders use these complex instruments daily and work with business managers and Bloomberg Founders to Design a near perfect easy to use workflow for Multi-Security Scenario Analysis

• Around 2008-09 when the credit derivative market was taking a hit because of the economic downturn, We observed through our instrumentation that CDS's analytics where used more by the Equity Traders to gauge risk in industry sectors. Since CDSes were individually traded or bundles together as Indices or sliced and diced as complex trances; there was no real categorization available for Equity traders which mapped correctly to industry sectors.
• I build the **crowd-sourced CDS categorization tool**, that enabled trades from multiple firm vote in and create their own "Sectors" guided by industry standard categories which correctly identified the risk in a given industry sector
• Also developed a pricing model to price these above mentioned aggregate sectors. The weighted pricing model allowed traders to easily compare apples-apples and make smarter decision.
• The production usage grew 800% in a year was named as the winner for the "Sales Award" at Bloomberg LP as a whole.
