• Led the development and industrialization of a multi-million-pound project incorporating multiple ADAS functions as Technical Lead. Project involved side mounted RADAR based front and rear collision warning/braking for crossing traffic, blind spot detection and lane change assist for passenger cars.
• Developed and deployed an object detection solution for surround view camera system for construction machinery. Objective of the project was to detect workers in the vicinity of large construction machinery, render 360° view on HMI and warn the operator in critical scenarios.
• Developed a marine collision avoidance system using automotive grade RADAR, Camera and auxiliary sensors for luxury yachts. Project included environment perception in open sea scenarios for early detection of obstacles with cloud integration for data management and over the air updates.
• My latest projects are focused on architecting AI-based solutions for defense and marine industry and build upon my experience in automotive domian.

• Led the design, training, evaluation, and deployment of traffic participants detection using ACF and CNN based object detection and tracking for Rear View Fisheye Camera.
• Led the development and deployment of an automated annotation tool for data labelling using deep learning based object detection, and semantic segmentation. Integration of this solution in company's internal data annotation tool resulted in significant savings in cost and manpower requirement.
• Design and deployment of data pipeline for on premises machine learning model training and evaluation using Python and MATLAB scripts. Project used MongoDB and DFS.

• Product Owner of pedestrian detection component which used classical state of the art machine learning techniques (HOG, LBP, PCA, SVM, Decision Tree) for object detection and tracking (Kalman tracker, Particle Filter) for rear view fisheye camera.
• 3-D position estimation based on 2-D detections using camera calibration parameters and ray tracing algorithms.
• Implemented a highly optimized lens distortion correction algorithm for rear view camera using Continental’s proprietary fisheye lens model on a resource constrained SoC in a complex project with multiple components.
• Achievements: The efficient and optimized implementation of algorithms reduced runtime on ECU by 75% enabling real time processing of camera feed. This helped customer in achieving 5-star NCAP rating for pedestrian safety and led to allotment of two follow up projects worth a million Euros.

• Developed an OCR system for automated reading and logging of general health related questionnaire responses and Electronic Medical Record.
