• Performed end-to-end Front-End Optimization (cost-saving and more CDN off-loading, serving static content through separate domain, integration of Adaptive Image Compression and Resizer, Adaptive Acceleration, Last Mile Acceleration, switching to HTTP/2, event-driven content loading, and a lot more). Infrastructure code and configuration was managed through Terraform. Real User Monitoring was also setup.
• Researched a lot and tried to perfect and streamline the workflow of development and deployment for dockerized/containerized monolith resources. I was responsible for tooling, designing, strategizing, and devising a solution for the same. As part of this project, I introduced minikube for dev environment, Helm and Skaffold for development and deployment workflow, and also conducted POCs with NFS, emptyDir{}, Persistent Volumes, Microsoft Draft, and many other techs/tools. Many other POCs were also done by me like for Jsonnet, Ksonnet, and Kapitan. Containerized Crons and QWorkers were integrated with this flow and deployment and management of the same became a lot easier. The deployment time also reduced from 3 hours to 5-7 minutes and a lot of cost-saving happened. Custom schema validators were written using Golang and the automation solution was build using Python, Jinja, and Shell. A lot of cost-saving happened because of this project.
• Architected and implemented end-to-end ETL workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, RabbitMQ, and AWS ECR.
• Worked on Kubernetes cluster setup using Kubeadm and migration of Kubernetes workflow from old KOPS provisioned clusters to new Kubeadm provisioned clusters.
• Helped fix log volume issues by fixing Filebeat and Elasticsearch configuration.
• Laid down best practices for working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Performed Postmortems and wrote RCAs for production issues.
• Dedicatedly worked towards building a presence in the Tech Community by evangelizing speaking at International Conferences.

• Performed end-to-end work related to big releases like profile-based RBAC integration for Kubernetes clusters from scratch, Custom Kafka Lag-Based HPA, Custom Request Count HPA, implementing and enforcing HA Pod management using Pod/Node Affinity and Node Taints/Tolerations, Dockerizing/Containerizing Monolithic Resources, performing platform upgrades (MySQL, Aerospike, and Kafka), Akamai WAF/DDOS/CDN integration and management, evaluation of and migration to Alibaba Cloud WAF/DDOS/CDN, introducing Brotli compression, containerizing Monolithic Crons and QWorkers, Helm/Skaffold Packaging/Deployment/Automation for Kubernetes applications, integrating auto-discovery and introducing grokking for Filebeat and Kibana, migrating from serial to parallel replication in MySQL, and many more.
