About

I am a graduate of the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad in India, and currently pursuing my master's in information security from Johns Hopkins University. I completed my bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2018 and have worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, followed by high-frequency trading firm AlphaGrep securities, where I worked as a Senior Analyst. At Goldman Sachs, which I joined through campus placements, I worked both as a software engineer and security engineer. I made an internal web app for banking systems in ReactJS, which is in use across different teams even today. I promoted security best practices, organized talks, and a successful CTF for colleagues. After almost two years at Goldman, I joined AlphaGrep Securities, where my primary work responsibility is to write low latency C++ code. High-Frequency Trading is an extremely time-sensitive activity, and it falls on me to reduce latency with best network programming practices, and build efficient systems. At Alphagrep, I worked on the Simulation Project where I devised complex algorithms to simulate various exchanges like CME, BMF, and NSE. I also lead rearchitecting efforts on the Simulation Project by moving away from monolithic design to more efficient and easy to manage micro-service architecture. I love InfoSec, FOSS, Linux, Networks, Systems Administration, and low latency software development. Website - https://anshulsinghal.com/ Github id:- https://github.com/saganshul
