Arghya Basu has 15 years of enterprising experience in the healthcare and technology sectors in Strategic Planning, Consultative Selling & Marketing, Analytics, and Financial Management. Basu has been an entrepreneur since a very young age. He started his first company in software services and later worked in organizations such as Sify Technologies and Google. In his previous roles, he held responsibilities in Account Portfolio Management involving Consultative Selling, Market & Consumer insights for brand ideas & strategies, AdSales and Marketing in Search and Project Management, to name a few. Basu’s immediate past assignment for more than a decade was with CORE Diagnostics as its Co-Founder and Director, establishing an oncology-focused pathology lab and data science driven specialized diagnostics. He helped grow the organization in fundraising, developing business strategy, standardizing healthcare data for actionable insights, and accelerating innovation in med-tech. The latter includes the recent rapid innovation to scale COVID testing delivery across the country and seamless partnerships with State governments for the same. He has a deep understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem. Basu graduated with a B. Tech in Computer Science from JNTU and MBA from T.A. Pai Management Institute. He is an avid sports player keen to promote underrepresented sports in the country. Basu is currently sponsoring an upcoming national-level Rugby player. He is highly passionate about supporting underprivileged children through education & diagnostics.
