About

I’m a Senior Backend / Infrastructure Engineer with ~6 years of experience building distributed systems that quietly power user-facing products at scale. My journey started on the Android platform at Google, where I worked on core system services and learned what it means to ship software that has to be reliable, performant, and correct across millions of devices and countless real-world environments. Working closely with global OEMs taught me how messy systems become at scale—and how much good infrastructure matters. Today at Meta Reality Labs, I work on backend infrastructure for Horizon OS media. I own systems ranging from large-scale ingestion and aggregation pipelines to real-time communication and AI-powered backend services that enable discovery and shared media experiences in VR. I’m drawn to infrastructure that sits close to products—systems that need to scale reliably while still enabling great user experiences. I enjoy digging into how systems behave in the real world, learning from failures, and leaving things better than I found them. I’ve increasingly found myself thinking about system boundaries, long-term maintainability, and how teams interact with the infrastructure they depend on.
