• Cultgear is the e-commerce arm of Cure.fit that aims to sell athletic and fashionable equipment to users.
• I owned the entire engineering deliverable at Cultgear, the e-commerce arm of Cure.fit. Was responsible for launching the e-commerce destination and setting up the CI/CD & QA processes.
• Also owned the initiative to design a platform to ingest health data from from various hardware sources. The platform would also derive various insights from the ingested health data for performance tracking and coaching the user.

• Mobshow is a live interactive video platform with 1M users and 100K DAU. My responsibilities included architecting and building the backend to scale with a very fast growing consumer product. Worked heavily on load testing and performance optimizations to deal with highly concurrent requests.

• Exotel is a fast growing startup in the cloud telephony space. I was working on the team to re-imagine the entire technology stack in order to scale the backend for future business growth internationally. In this new team, I was a key player instrumental in designing and deploying a large scale distributed system that could handle ~20 million calls/day. The entire code was written in Golang.

• Worked on designing the end-to-end tracking and metrics for the android application & Java backend powering the payment gateway built by Ezetap. Also streamlined the entire build pipeline and setup some best practices for a growing technology team.

• Working with financial institutions to monetize their transactional data. We did this by running large-scale analytics and machine learning algorithms on their transactional data streams in order to predict consumer behaviour and target the right consumers at the right time. It was a completely real-time system built on the Hadoop platform using Apache Mahout & Storm.

• I interned at Genesis Microchip in the capacity of a Consultant. My project consisted of Hardware prototyping and emulation of Digital television chips on a FPGA. My responsibilities included exposing early bugs in the circuit, propose better system designs on the FPGA and provide a robust platform conducive for quicker software development of digital chips.

• While working under the Center for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (CRIS), I initiated the project to build a humanoid capable of performing a plethora of functions similar to humans (Eg. Walking, Climbing stairs, Kicking etc).
• My contribution to the project has been mainly related to Software Development, Processor Interfacing, Algorithm Design and incorporating Artificial Intelligence into the Robot.
• We participated at Robogames 2008, San Francisco with our humanoid.
